Survived by children, Sherry Nichols, Joan Nichols (Nathan Zerbe), Donna (Kenton) Wilson, Janet (Jeff) Marten, Julie (Dean) Christopherson & Trent Nichols; grandchildren, Nathan, Adam, Amanda, Jason, Andra, Chad, Carissa, Ryan, Daniel & Colin; sister, Cynthia Nichols.

Preceded in death by wife, Maybelle.

Roger graduated from Wheaton College in IL with a Bachelors Degree in Zoology and the University of MN with a Masters in Education. He was a teacher in District 281 for many years and worked for Bethel College.  One of Roger’s great passions in life was music, including playing the marimba from a young age and singing in a variety of vocal groups through the years.

Interment Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Crystal.
